To delete cookies in Internet Explorer 5.0:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

  3. On the General tab, under Temporary Internet files, click Settings.

  4. In the Settings dialog box, click View Files.

  5. On the View menu, click Details.

  6. Click the Internet Address column to sort the files. Look through the cookies and delete the cookies that contain the Internet address you think sent you the cookie. Cookie files will look similar to: Cookie:username@websitename.

  7. Right-click the cookie and click Delete on the shortcut menu to delete it.

  8. Repeat this step for each cookie you want to delete.

To delete cookies in Internet Explorer 4.0:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.

  2. On the View menu, click Internet Options.
