Access Number Selection (Juno 5.0)

To simplify access number selection and to make Juno quicker and easier to use, all Juno 5.0 access numbers can be used to connect to email and the Web.

You will only have to select access numbers from one list, instead of one set for email connections and another for Web connections, as with earlier versions.

To select your access numbers:

1. Go to the Connection menu and select Access Number Setup and Selection.
2. On the Select Dialing Setup screen, if you have not already done so, select your dialing setup and then click Next.
3. If you have not already done so, configure your dialing setup and click Next.
4. On the Update Numbers screen, click Get New Access Number List to see if the access number list has recently been updated. Juno will dial a toll-free number to connect to its central computers and then download an up-to-date list of access numbers.
5. Click Next and select your access numbers. These numbers will be used for Web and email connections.
6. On the Selection screen, click the check boxes next to the access numbers you want to use to connect to Juno and click Next.
7. In the Dialing Options screen, click the appropriate check boxes if you need to dial a "1" or the area code to connect to any of the access numbers that you have selected.
8. Click Finish.
