How do I change my browser's search provider? To change the Search provider used by your browser Internet Explorer - Start Internet Explorer, and click the arrow on the right of the search box
- Scroll through the list of search providers, and click on the one you'd like to use
- To change your default search provider, click on the arrow, then select Manage Search Providers
- Click on the provider you want as your default, and click on the Set as default button
- To remove a provider, select it and click on the Remove button
- To find new providers, click on the arrow then select Find More Providers
- Select the search provider you'd like to add, and click the Add button
Firefox - Start Firefox, then click on the arrow next to search box
- Select the search provider you want to use from the list
- To remove a search provider, click on the arrow then select Manage Search Engines...
- Select the provider you want to remove, then click the Remove button
- To add new search providers, click on the arrow and select Manage Search Engines...
- Click on Get more search engines... to open the Mozilla add-on page
- Select the search engines you want to add, then press the Add button
Google Chrome - Start Chrome then click on the browser toolbar
- Select Settings and choose the search provider you want to use from the list in the Search section
- To add new search providers, open Chrome, go to the search engine you want to add, click on the browser toolbar, select Settings, click on Manage search engines, and click the Make Default button (you can also just type the information in the Other search engines field)
- To remove a search provider, click on the browser toolbar, select Settings, click on Manage search engines, choose the provider you want to remove, and click the X button on the right
