Can I remove or change the name that appears on messages I send? (Juno 5.0)

The name that appears on your outgoing messages is taken from the First name, MI, and Last name boxes in the Name and Address window. If you are concerned about people knowing your full name (perhaps because you are writing to a public forum), you can choose to hide your full name on outgoing messages so that they show only your email address.

Note: If you use Juno 1.49 or 2.0 your full name is automatically included in every email message you send.

To show or hide your full name on your outgoing messages:

1. In Juno 5.0: Go to the Options menu, point to Email Preferences, and click Other Email Preferences.
   
   In Juno 3.0 or 4.0: Go to the Options menu and select Email Options.
   
   
2. In the window that appears, clear the Include my full name in outgoing messages check box to hide your full name on your outgoing messages. Select this check box to show your full name.
   
   
3. Click OK.
