Error - Your modem is already in use by another program (Juno 5.0)

This error message indicates that there is probably a software conflict between your modem and another software program.

To close other software programs that may be conflicting with your modem:

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to see what other programs are running.
2. On the screen that appears, select the program you think may be using your modem from the list and click End Task. The screen will close and the program should no longer be running.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each software program you think may be using your modem and is currently running.

Be especially careful to disable any fax or voice mail programs on your computer. If you are not sure how to do this, please consult the manual that came with your computer or with your communications software.

If you still cannot access the Web, make sure that your fax or other communication software programs do not load automatically each time the system starts. Please contact the manufacturer of your fax or non-Juno communications software program if you have further questions about this.
