Juno Turbo Compatibility Issues Juno Turbo is designed to work under most common Windows setups. You may, however, encounter problems if you currently use third-party programs that use an Internet proxy to function. A proxy is a technique used to store, or "cache" information on a Web server before it is delivered or loaded into your Web browser. When you configure your Web browser to use a proxy, it does not connect directly to Web pages. Instead, it connects to the proxy server, and downloads the Web page information to your browser. Some programs that use an Internet proxy to function are not compatible with Juno Turbo. These programs will need to be disabled or customized in order to work with Juno Turbo. If you are not sure whether you have any of these programs installed, click here to download and run our Connection Wizard, which will identify these installed programs for you.

Software Firewall Programs If you are currently running a firewall program (or a virus protection program with firewall capabilities), you will need to check if it uses a custom proxy or not. - If your firewall program does not use a custom proxy, make sure your firewall settings are not set at a level that is too restrictive. Try to maintain your security level at its "Medium" setting.
- If your firewall program does have a custom proxy, the proxy will need to be changed to be compatible with Juno's accelerator settings.
You will need to change to a different port (not 7900) in the conflicting application, not run the conflicting application, or tell your firewall software to allow communication on that port. For information on how to configure the conflicting application or firewall, please consult the documentation that came with that product. Note that it is not possible to change the port number setting within Juno Turbo. For specific firewall troubleshooting solutions, click here. If you are receiving Page cannot be displayed errors after adding the proxy server information, try removing the proxy information entirely and connecting again. If the problem persists, click here for further troubleshooting steps.
Content / Parental Filter Programs Content / Parental Filter programs often work by using a special proxy setting, and they are not compatible with Juno Turbo. If you wish to use Juno Turbo, you will need to disable your Content Filter program. For more information on how to do this, please visit your Content Filter's company support site.
Web Accelerators and Other Programs Web Accelerator programs are not compatible with Juno Turbo and must be uninstalled in order for Juno Turbo to function properly. In addition, we have identified potential conflicts with the following software: - Marketscore
- XupiterToolbar
- SpyBlocker
