Try the following troubleshooting steps if you're having trouble receiving emails:
Are you logged on?
Double-check to be sure you are currently connected to the Internet before trying to receive your emails by trying to open a Web page.
Configure your Send/Receive Messages settings
These setting determine how frequently Outlook Express checks for new messages. To change the settings to check more frequently:
Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools and select Options
Click the General tab, and be sure there is a check in the box next to Check for new messages every, and set the time in the box.
Click the Advanced tab, find the SMTP port setting, and write this down to change it back when you get home.
Click Apply, then OK to finish.
Try to Receive messages
Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools, point to Send and Receive, an select Receive All
If there's a problem with receiving mail, you will see an error message. If you need to provide your Account Name and Password, you will be prompted.
Configure your Account settings
Be sure you've configured your account to remember your account name and password.
Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools and select Accounts
Choose your Juno account, click on Properties, and select the Advanced tab.
Confirm that your POP and SMTP settings are correct. If not, change them.
Click OK then Close to finish.
POP: pop.juno.com SMTP: smtp.juno.com
Try receiving your mail again.
Sometimes your mail server will timeout before it can connect to Juno to download your messages. To change this setting:
Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools and select Accounts
Choose your Juno account, click on Properties, and select the Advanced tab.
Change the Server Timeouts setting by sliding the bar to the right. You can choose up to 5 minutes.
Click OK then Close to finish.
Try and receive mail again.
