How do I enable/disable the Juno DSL modem firewall?

Your Juno DSL firewall is enabled by default, and we strongly recommend that you don't disable it unless you have other firewalls in place.

To disable your Juno DSL modem firewall:

  1. Access your modem's settings by going to gateway.2wire.net.
  2. Your firewall status is shown on the right side of the screen. Click on the firewall icon (the lock), or the View Firewall Status link.
  3. Click on the Firewall Status link in the navigation bar.
  4. Choose Allow all applications (DMZplus mode).
  5. Click Done.
Your Juno DSL modem's firewall is now disabled.

To enable your Juno DSL modem firewall:

  1. Access your modem's settings by going to gateway.2wire.net.
  2. Your firewall status is shown on the right side of the screen. Click on the firewall icon (the lock), or the View Firewall Status link.
  3. Click on the Firewall Status link in the navigation bar.
  4. Choose Allow individual application(s).
  5. Click Done.
Your Juno DSL modem's firewall is now enabled.
