Common Connection Errors / Solutions Error - The dialing profile named "Default" has not been properly set up with a Juno access number (Juno 2.0) If you are using Juno 2.0, you may get this error message after getting a new access number list, and you may not be able to get or send mail. This error message indicates that you'll need to change your access numbers. After changing your access numbers, try sending or getting mail again. To update and change your access numbers in Juno 2.0: - Go to the Connection menu and select Access Number Setup and Selection.
- The Telephone Setup screen will appear. Review your dialing options and click Next.
- On the Update Access Number List screen, click Get New Access Number List. Juno dials a toll-free number to connect to its central computers and then downloads an up-to-date list of access numbers.
- After Juno has downloaded the latest access number list, click Next to select your email access numbers.
- On the Select Email Access Numbers screen, you can select your primary and backup email access numbers. To select your primary email access number, click the first Change This Number button.
- On the Select Local Access Number screen that appears, select an access number that is local to you and click OK. To see more access numbers, select the Show all numbers check box.
- The Select Email Access Numbers screen will appear. The access number you selected will now be displayed in the Primary email access number box:
If the access number requires it, select the Dial a '1' before this number check box. If a check mark appears in the box, Juno dials it. If the access number requires it, select the Dial area code before this number check box. If a check mark appears in the box, Juno dials the area code. - To select your backup email access number, click the second Change This Number button and repeat steps 6 and 7 to select a new backup access number.
- Click Finish to save your changes.
