Common Connection Errors / Solutions

Error - Juno's central computers could not be accessed using the numbers in the current dialing profile (Juno 5.0)

If you get this error message, the action you need to take depends on the version of Juno you are using. You can check this by going to the Help menu and selecting About Juno.

If you are using version 3.0 or higher, please try selecting a different access number.

If you are using version 2.0, please try the following steps:

  1. Exit Juno.
  2. Double-click the My Computer icon.
  3. Double-click your C:\ drive, then on the Program Files folder, the Juno folder, and the Lib folder.
  4. Select the files dialprof.nv and pop.nv.
  5. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  6. Open Juno.
  7. When you click Get New Mail, Juno will prompt you to download a new access number list and select new access numbers.
