If you are receiving RAS error 621, 659, 667, 669-673, 692, or 745, please try the following steps: - Shut down and restart your computer and modem to reset them. Try to connect to Juno Platinum again.
- If the error persists, reinstall Dial-Up Networking. Please note that if you are currently using Dial-Up Networking with another application, such as fax software or programs from another ISP, you will need to reconfigure that application after reinstalling Dial-Up Networking.
To reinstall Dial-Up Networking in Windows 95 or Windows 98: - Click the Start button and select Settings, then Control Panel.
- Double-click the Network icon.
- Select the Protocols tab.
- If TCP/IP or TCP/IP->Dial-Up Adapter appears in the list, highlight it and click Remove.
- Click Add.
- From the list, highlight Protocol and click Add again.
- After Windows loads the drivers, select Microsoft from the Manufacturer list on the left and TCP/IP from the Network Protocols list on the right.
- Insert your Windows 95 disk in the disk drive and click Have Disk.
- Do not configure any properties once the TCP/IP protocol is added.
- Exit out of the Network screen.
- While still in Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click the Windows Setup tab.
- Select Communications.
- Click Details.
- Under Components, make sure that the box next to Dial-Up Networking is checked.
- Click OK, then Apply.
- Restart Windows.
