How do I connect or disconnect from the Web? (Juno 5.0) If you use Juno 4.0 or later, you can connect to the Web when you first start Juno, or you can connect from the Web screen anytime during your Juno session. If you use Juno 2.0 or 3.0, you can download the latest version for free by going to http://my.juno.com/s/download. To get a copy of the Juno CD-ROM in the mail, call us toll-free at 1-800-654-5866. Please note, there is a one-time $10.00 processing fee for the CD-ROM that includes shipping and handling.
To connect to the Web when you first start Juno: - Start Juno.
- Click World Wide Web. The Web screen will appear as Juno dials and connects to the Web.
To connect to the Web at any time during your Juno session: - Click the Web tab.
If you use Juno 5.0 and have Juno configured to automatically connect when you click the Web tab, Juno will dial and connect to the Web.
If you did not configure Juno to automatically connect, click Connect in the lower-right corner of the Web screen. Juno will dial and connect to the Web.
Tip: You can also surf the Web with another browser instead of Juno's Web browser in the Web screen in Juno 5.0. After you connect to the Web through Juno, just open your other browser. This browser will use your Juno connection. If you use Juno 4.0 or earlier, click Connect in the left corner of the Web screen. Juno will dial, connect to the Web, and launche your default Web browser.
To disconnect from the Web: - On the Web screen, click the Disconnect button, or if you are finished using Juno, exit Juno.
Tip: You can also disconnect from the Web by right-clicking the Juno button on the taskbar and then clicking Disconnect from Juno Web on the shortcut menu.
