Connecting to the Web using Juno 5.0 To connect to the Internet using Juno 5.0, please double click on the Juno icon on the desktop. If you try to connect through Internet explorer or through Dial-up Networking, you will receive an Invalid Username or Password error. Connecting through the Juno 5.0 software gives you the advantage of Juno's smart-dialer. The smart-dialer optimizes your Internet connection by using the best phone number at the time of your connection, resulting in fewer busy signals, fewer dropped calls, and faster connections.
To set up Internet Explorer 5.0 to automatically connect to your Juno Web connection: - Start Internet Explorer.
- Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
- On the Internet Options screen, click the Connections tab.
- In the Dial-up settings list, select Juno Web [or it may be Juno Web (Default)].
- Click Always dial my default connection.
- Click Set Default, if it is available.
- Click OK.
To set up Internet Explorer 4.0 to automatically connect to your Juno Web connection: - Start Internet Explorer.
- Go to the View menu and select Internet Options.
- On the Internet Options screen, click the Connections tab.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Use the following Dial-up Network connection arrow and select Juno Web.
- Click OK.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options screen.
