Address Book contacts not imported Importing contacts from other Web based Email providers like Hotmail, Yahoo! and also from mail programs like Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express into Email on the Web allows you to view all your contacts in one place. After the import procedure is completed you would receive a confirmation message on-screen or in an email with the number of contacts successfully imported. There are several reasons why some of your Address Book contacts may not get imported like - The Contact information contains special characters
Contacts which have non-standard English characters [eg: ã, ê, ø, b, ?] can not be imported into your Email on the Web Address book. Please, ensure that the contacts information that you are importing doesn't contain any special characters. - Duplicate contact entries will not be created
If you have a contact already present in your Email on the Web Address Book with the same information that you are importing from an external Address Book, then the contact would not be created again in your Email on the Web Address Book to avoid any duplication of records. - Verify the Address Book limit
Ensure that the number of contacts to be imported doesn't exceed the Address Book limit of 1000 . If the Address Book limit is exceeded then we import the contacts only up to your Address Book limit. - Primary information not available
If there is no information available to be filled for the required fields in your Email on the Web Address Book then the contact wouldn't be imported. For help importing contacts, click here.
